Professional Experience
Dr. Nishant Kumar is currently serving as an Assistant Professor – I / Scientific Officer at the Amity Food and Agriculture Foundation, Amity University, Noida, since June 2025. Previously, he worked as a Knowledge Management Officer and Research Associate at NIFTEM, where he contributed to nationally significant projects in food science and post-harvest technology. He began his research career as a Junior Research Fellow at NIFTEM in 2021. Earlier industrial roles include Shift In-Charge at The Malt Ind. Pvt. Ltd., and Quality Analyst at Malsters & Blenders Ind. Pvt. Ltd.
He is also an active Freelance Scientific Writer since July 2024 and has served as a Member of the International Scientific Committee for global conferences in food science and sustainability.
