Since May 2023, he has been serving as the Training and Research Coordinator at the African Centre of Excellence in Sustainable Cooling and Cold-Chain (ACES), where he leads academic program development, upholds academic standards, supports research, engages in teaching, prepares reports, conducts curriculum reviews, and performs impact assessments. Concurrently, he is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Rwanda, teaching and leading modules on Research Methodology, Project Management, Computational Fluid Mechanics, Systems Design, Heat and Mass Transfer, HVAC, and Measurement and Instrumentation.

From May 2021 to 2022, Dr. Dalson held the position of Deputy Dean at the School of Engineering at the University of Rwanda, where he coordinated teaching and learning, research grant writing, and community outreach. Between January 2018 and 2022, he served as a Lecturer at the same university, teaching and leading various engineering subjects. During a brief period from August to October 2018, he acted as the Ag.
