Professional Experience
Mrs. V. Udayavani has been serving as an Assistant Professor at Saveetha School of Law, SIMATS, since 2018. Before entering academia, she was enrolled as an Advocate in the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu (2005) and actively practiced law, representing clients before the Madras High Court and various Trial Courts in Tamil Nadu, handling diverse cases across legal domains.
In academia, she has organized and participated in numerous seminars, webinars, conferences, and guest lectures. She has also conducted moot sessions and competitions to enhance legal education. She played a key role in organizing events such as the Star Summit 2023, an industrial visit to SKP Platers (Ambattur Industrial Estate), and a PoSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) event at Saveetha School of Engineering on August 3, 2023.
Research Interest
Her research interests include legal studies, gender laws, environmental law, interdisciplinary approaches in law and science, and digital law enforcement.
