Dr. Balasubramanian Parameswaran is a seasoned professor and scholar in the domain of Commerce and Behavioral Finance. Professional Experience

Dr. Balasubramanian Parameswaran is an accomplished academician with over 19 years of teaching and research experience in the field of Commerce and Management. He currently serves as Vice Principal and Head of the Department at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore. He has previously held key academic leadership roles, including multiple terms as HoD of an integrated department offering Ph.D., M.Phil., M.Com, and B.Com programs.

He has organized three national and one international conference, as well as three Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs) sponsored by AICTE and UGC. As an experienced Ph.D. guide and examiner, he has supervised 129 MBA/M.Com projects, 15 awarded M.Phil theses, 5 awarded Ph.D. theses, and currently supervises 6 ongoing doctoral candidates. He has evaluated Ph.D. theses for various universities, including Mahatma Gandhi University, University of Kerala, Karpagam Academy, and Bharathiar University, where he also served as Chairman of the Ph.D. Viva Board Panel.
