Professional Experience:  

Massimiliano Lucidi has extensive professional experience in microbiology and bioengineering. From March 2023 to March 2026, he served as a Researcher (RTD-A) in Microbiology at the National Biodiversity Future Centre (NBFC), Department of Sciences, University Roma Tre, Rome, Italy. Prior to this, from February 2021 to February 2023, he worked as a Research Fellow within the Microbiology laboratory at the same institution, focusing on next-generation antibacterials. Additionally, he has experience abroad, including a one-month scientific mission in Bucharest, Romania, and has been actively engaged in didactic activities, serving as a lecturer for various courses related to microbiology and biotechnology. Furthermore, Massimiliano Lucidi has participated in several research projects and has been a member of professional associations such as the Italian Society of General Microbiology and Microbial Biotechnology (SIMGBM) and the American Chemical Society. He has also served as a reviewer for various scientific journals and has received awards and grants for his contributions to the field of microbiology and bioengineering.
