He currently holds the position of Associate Professor at the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore, Pakistan, where he has been actively engaged in teaching, research, and consultancy since 2021. Prior to this, he served as an Assistant Professor at UET Lahore from 2016 to 2021, where he contributed significantly to teaching, research, and consultancy activities. Dr. Irfan-ul-Hassan also gained valuable international experience as a Research Associate at the Vienna University of Technology, Austria, and as a PhD student/Research Assistant from 2013 to 2016. Throughout his career, he has been involved in curriculum design, quality enhancement, structural design, project vetting, report writing, laboratory testing, field testing, and earthquake rehabilitation.
