Summary:
Dr. Mehdi Bamorovat is an Assistant Professor of Medical Parasitology at the Leishmaniasis Research Center, Kerman University of Medical Sciences, Kerman, Iran. He completed his Ph.D. in Medical Parasitology from the School of Medicine at Kerman University of Medical Sciences, where his thesis focused on the risk factors for anthroponotic cutaneous leishmaniasis. Prior to his Ph.D., he obtained an M.Sc. in Veterinary Parasitology and a B.Sc. in Veterinary Laboratory Sciences from Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman.
Throughout his career, Dr. Bamorovat has been actively involved in research and teaching, with a particular emphasis on parasitic infections and their impact on public health. He has published over 79 research articles and has been involved in approximately 54 research projects. His research interests encompass various aspects of medical parasitology, including anthroponotic cutaneous leishmaniasis, veterinary parasitology, epidemiology, control measures, host immune responses, and zoonotic parasitic diseases.
