Assoc. Prof. Dr. Juanyu Wu has been an integral part of the Department of Landscape Architecture at the School of Architecture, South China University of Technology (SCUT) since 2009. Starting as a lecturer, he developed and delivered courses that have significantly contributed to the education and inspiration of a new generation of architects. In 2012, he advanced to the position of Associate Professor, where he currently leads research and teaching initiatives focused on both the historical and contemporary aspects of landscape architecture. Prior to his academic career, Dr. Wu gained valuable professional experience as an architect with Jean-Paul Viguier and Architect Hubert & Roy Company in Paris, France, from 2004 to 2008. During this time, he worked on diverse architectural and landscape projects, making substantial contributions to urban planning and design. Additionally, from 2001 to 2002, he served as an urban planner in the Department of City Planning & Estate Resources at the Guangzhou Subway Company, where he was involved in city planning projects that emphasized sustainable and efficient urban development. Dr. Wuā€™s extensive experience in both academia and the professional field has equipped him with a unique perspective that he brings to his research and teaching.
