She is fluent in Arabic (native) and has an advanced command of English.

Ms. Al-Lami is an academic lecturer and researcher, currently serving as an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Biology, College of Science for Women, University of Baghdad, where she mentors and oversees undergraduate students.
