Prior to his Ph.D., he earned his M.Sc. in Chemistry from Gurukul Kangri University Haridwar in 2014 with a 71.6% score and his B.Sc. in Chemistry from Sahu Jain (PG) College, affiliated with M.J.P.R.U. Dr. Ahmad is currently serving as a Research Associate at the Department of Chemistry, IIT Roorkee, under the mentorship of Prof. M. Sankar. He has previously held positions as a Senior Research Fellow (July 2019 – December 2023) and Junior Research Fellow (July 2017 – June 2019) at IIT Roorkee. Dr. Ahmad has extensive experience in nanomaterials and electrochemistry, focusing on developing advanced electrode materials for energy storage and catalysis.
